The lady tigers varsity girls basketball team won their season opener 28-21 against Global Commerce!

Highlights: Captain Brittany Young led the team with 15 points and 8 rebounds. Freshman Erica Young made her first varsity-level game appearance and had 10 points, 5 assists and 3 rebounds. Freshman Yhorianny Penalo played the entire game and led the lady tigers as starting point guard. Sophomore Sharai Vasquez added 5 points and Captain Mildred Green hustled her way defense.
